"Virus Support" Tech Support Scam | A Very Tame Scammer

"In this one I call up a Tech Support Scam company named 'Virus Support' which attempted to pull a very similar Scam to others. The Scammer in one pulled the usual tricks and made a number of questionable remarks. Firstly, he thought "VMware" was my PC manufacturer and didn't persume it was a Virtual Machine. The Scammer then went in to Event Viewer and lied outright about the Errors and Warnings contained he there. He misrepresented them as a 'Trojans' when they clearly were not. He shortly after went into Msconfig and lied about Stopped Services and said this was just to the 'Trojans' being on my system. He then asked me to pay $315 to fix non-existent problems on my VM. When I refused and confronted him he remained extremely relaxed and was not aggressive like others Scammers I've confronted. He also as usual declined the idea that this was a Scam. Shortly, after I disconnected the call knowing he wasn't keen on taking the argument any further."
